Story of Our Logo:
The Dog on the Left of the Doyle Pet Services Logo is "Orion Domi," and the Cat on the Right is "Leo Domi" of former Blackhawks Player Max Domi. Steve Doyle, Owner of Doyle Pet Services, was the private caretaker of Mr. Domi's Fur-babies during all Home and Away games last season. He also provided many walks for Orion daily when not sitting for the two while Mr. Domi was away. Orion was a specially trained dog able to detect low blood sugar levels in Max Domi and alert him. Max Domi has Type 1 Diabetes, and Orion is an important part in maintaining his excellent health. Orion can be found on the front cover of Mr. Domi's book, "No Days Off,"; an inspiring story of getting to the NHL despite having severe chronic health conditions of Type 1 Diabetes and Celiac disease.
"Doyle" is an Irish name hence the four leaf clover symbolizing luck. Steve feels very lucky to be able to take care of pets for a living.

Pet care experience:
(ʘᴥʘ) Steve has been doing this since 2018! He does pet care Full-Time giving lots of availability & flexibility to clients since this is all he does. A former Nationally Certified Emergency Medical Technician who currently holds a Certificate of Completion from the American Red Cross in Cat and Dog First Aid. Steve volunteered at PAWS, a local no-kill shelter in Chicago, from 2014 to 2019. (ʘᴥʘ)

(ʘᴥʘ) In January 2018, Steve started walking dogs for 30 hours or more weekly in his spare time after work. He found these clients on an app called WAG. Steve has been on Rover since late August of 2018 and has lots of experience from which to draw. (ʘᴥʘ)

(ʘᴥʘ) Everyday you can find Steve at a clients house sitting their pets while they are out of town or at his own place with a boarded dog or cat. While doing a sitting or boarding for a client Steve goes out from 10AM-3PM for his daily dog walking clients and usually he can fit in a couple cat check-ins somewhere through out the day as well. (ʘᴥʘ)
(ʘᴥʘ) Steve has done thousands of WAG walks in all of the North Side Neighborhoods and hundreds in the Near West & Near South Sides as well. You can see Steve’s WAG credentials from screenshots pictured on this website. The screenshots feature his Pawesome Reviews from WAG and his 5-star rating! (ʘᴥʘ)

I would like to know how social they are. I would like to know what their typical routine is. I do not have any breed preferences or size preferences. (ʘᴥʘ)

When Steve watches your pet:

(ʘᴥʘ) Due to doing thousands of dog walks on the WAG, Steve knows the best routes and areas to take dogs in all neighborhoods. He understands where other dog walkers and owners gather with their dogs. Steve does not socialize dogs with each other for the dogs safety and his own. He steers clear of other dogs. Steve knows the local businesses that provide water and treats to dogs. He knows of places that do not mind having a K-9 in their business area if they need to cool off with air conditioning on a hot day or warm up with the heat on a cold day. He likes to stick to parks or a good trail. Steve's favorite thing to do to a dog is get them to do a "head tilt," which they will exhibit when they are curious, confused, or shocked. (ʘᴥʘ)
